Otara Market

Saturday, February 12, 2011

Today we drove down to the Otara Market, which I a huge outside market with everything under the sun. I got a photo album that I absolutely love. After a few hours there, I cam back and called Alison Howell's phone through skype. I made my day talking to her. I have missed it so much. I talked to her for almost an hour and it was less than a dollar to do so. Skype is so amazing. I got to talk to her one year old Emma too and she is talking. She said I love, all of the people in her family's names and my name. It was so cute and made me so excited she wasn't talking much when I left and now she is talking so much. Everyone is just growing up so fast. I  miss so many of my friends and family back home and at school. It is such a blessing that I am able to keep in contact with them while I am half way around the world though.

I talked to my family as well and caught up on my blog and all my pictures. We had stake conference tonight and Nancy and I sang in the choir. The conference went really well. There was a lot of focus on faith. The seems to be the common topic for talks since I have came to New Zealand and I really like it. it has helped to strengthen my faith quite a bit.
